Clark, age 10, has loved the Atlanta Braves since he was six-years-old. And he currently pitches for his hometown team, the Braves. He knew he wanted to watch a Braves game on their home field for his Dream over the summer. So, we flew Clark and his parents to Atlanta for an experience of a lifetime with his favorite team. “It was amazing,” said his dad.

Clark stayed in the Battery, which he described as a “cool hangout spot where you can chill before the games.” On the day of the game, he was invited to batting practice where he collected seven player signatures and even talked to some of the players. Afterward, he headed to his seats. “We had an amazing view and could see all the action,” he told us.

Clark must have been a good luck charm, because his favorite player, Marcell Ozuna, hit a homer! “Seeing Ozuna hit a home run was definitely my highlight,” Clark said. “It was so cool – everyone stood up and cheered.” He added excitedly, “It was also Bobblehead Night, so I got a Chic-Fil-A bobblehead!”

In addition to his new Bobblehead and awesome memories, Clark made sure to put his souvenir money to good use at the stadium souvenir shop. “We got a ton of swag! Hats, a collar for my dog, a patch for a bag, a specially designed tie-dye ball, shirts for the family, and lotsa lotsa food!”

When we asked him what his favorite food was at the stadium, Clark said he loved the nachos, hot dogs, cotton candy, and a Coke in mascot cup. It sounds like this was a red banner day for our Dreamer! And the icing on the cake? The Braves beat the Phillies that night!

The next day, Clark went back to the stadium where he was treated to an inside look at the dugout, press box, and all the special clubs. That night, his uncle took him to another game!

While in Atlanta, Clark also went to the Georgia Aquarium, where he saw the likes of whale sharks and belugas.

“Thank you VERY MUCH for this trip. It was amazing,” Clark said. His father told us, “This trip really let us celebrate the end of his treatment. We now have this long-lasting good memory instead of the bad memories we had. It was amazing and we really appreciate it.”

We are so happy Clark had fun and saw the Braves rack up a W! We are thankful for our partnership with #ChartwayPromiseFoundation for helping to fund this Dream for Clark.
