Sadie’s Dream Trip to the Beach: A Slice of Heaven by the Sea
For Dreamer Sadie, the beach isn’t just a destination, it is her happy place. When asked what her dream would be, the answer was easy – a tropical trip to Florida. Sadie and her family experienced an unforgettable beach adventure that brought joy, healing, and cherished memories during a meaningful milestone in her treatment journey.
From the moment they arrived, Sadie was all smiles, radiating pure joy as she stepped out of the condo and onto the soft Florida sand. With the ocean just steps away, she swam, played, and floated every chance she got. “She was in heaven,” her mom said. “We couldn’t get her to come inside!”

Their trip also marked a very special celebration: three years since Sadie’s last chemotherapy treatment. It was the perfect time to pause and celebrate how far she has come.
One of the highlights of the adventure was a shelling trip to a deserted island. Traveling by boat, the family spotted dolphins and manatees on the way and found themselves swimming and collecting seashells in a tropical paradise.
Another unforgettable moment was their private early-morning tour at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium through the Inspire Program. Sadie got to feed rehabilitating dolphins, witness a sea turtle medical exam, and meet the incredible staff helping marine life heal and thrive.

What made this trip so meaningful was not just the activities, but the freedom it gave the entire family. From running to the beach first thing each morning to sharing family time in the water, every moment was magical.

To all who made this possible, Sadie’s family shares a heartfelt message:
“Thank you, thank you, thank you. We don’t know how to say it enough. This was the best time we’ve had as a family in so long. It was a true blessing, and we’ll carry these memories with us forever.”
