Tucker, age 9, is a sweet little guy who had always wanted to go to Disney World. When it came time to decide his most fantastic Dream, it wasn’t even a question – Tucker wanted to go to Disney! “It was AMAZING!,” his mother said. “It was so awesome. We are all still on a Disney high!”

Tucker and his family packed a lot into their weeklong trip. Visiting six parks and having lots of fun at Give Kids the World Village. “Tucker is a thrill ride, faster, higher, type of kid,” his mother told us. When we asked him what his favorite ride was, Tucker replied, “That’s hard! I have five favorites and they are: Rockin’ Roller Coaster, Velocicoaster, Hagrid’s Motorbike, The Hulk, and Guardians of the Galaxy. The higher the better!”

“GKTW was great,” his mother told us. “We went to the pool, the ice cream shop, the arcade, putt-putt, and some of the rides. We also went to a Halloween Party, a Super Bowl Party, and a Christmas Party. We just wanted to do it all!” When we asked Tucker what the best part was, he replied, “Everything! Everything was the best part!” And due to all the special attention Tucker received from being a Dream Kid, “I felt famous!” he exclaimed.

His mother said, “It really was just the BEST time we’ve ever had. It was a once in a lifetime trip. Not that we weren’t close before, but this trip changed us.” She went on to say, “It felt like the closing of the door on that part of our lives. Because Tucker is now cancer-free, it felt like a full-circle ending of that horrific period. It was a celebration of the end of everything we have gone through.” Tucker chimed in, “It was amaaaaaazing!”

Hooray for Tucker being cancer-free! We are so happy that Tucker and his family got to have this much-deserved once in a lifetime experience. We are thankful for our partnership with Chartway Promise Foundation in helping to fund this Dream for Tucker.
