TyTy’s Dream: Undersea Magic, Ice Cream Delights and a Family-Favorite Adventure

From the moment TyTy boarded her first ever flight, excitement filled the air. Sitting by the window and greeted by the pilot, she settled in with coloring, ready for the journey ahead. Her Dream trip was a chance to explore magical worlds, meet beloved characters, and spend unforgettable time together as a family.

When asked what was the most magical moment for TyTy. She promptly exclaimed without hesitation, “Meeting Ariel!” TyTy was amazed that Ariel from The Little Mermaid came “from under the sea” just to see her. Walking through the cave and spending special minutes chatting with her favorite princess made a lasting impression. TyTy’s face lit up with joy, it was a moment she’ll never forget.

As TyTy and her family explored Universal Studios, they spent lots of time in Dr. Seuss Land, riding every ride in the area. From the water ride to the One Fish, Two Fish ride and the elevated Seuss train, every turn brought laughter and smiles. At Disney, the Animal Kingdom safari was another standout, offering up-close views of animals and adventure.

Back at Give Kids the World Village, TyTy fully embraced the magic of the Village experience. One of her favorite parts? Ice cream, all day, every day. She loved the freedom to enjoy a treat before dinner and made sure to customize her waffles with sprinkles and whipped cream.

The whole family lit up during their time at the Village. Special moments included meeting King Julian from Madagascar at breakfast, which was a thrill for the entire family, since Madagascar is a household favorite. They also had fun visits with Gru from Minions, horseback riding, and a cheerful celebration with Santa and other characters. The volunteers at the Village made the experience even more special, always ready with a helping hand and a smile.

For TyTy’s family, this Dream trip wasn’t just a break, “It was a breather,” Mom shared. It gave them time to be together without stress or worry. The Village also created space for meaningful connections, allowing them to meet and talk with other families facing medical challenges, a reminder they’re not alone.

The joy on their child’s face, the laughter shared over bacon and sprinkles, and the conversations with princesses, all of it exceeded their hopes. Thanks to the power of a Dream, they returned home not only with souvenirs and photos, but with something even greater, a heart full of memories and a story they’ll treasure forever.
