Charlotte's Dream of Princess Magic
Five-year-old Charlotte chose her Dream with her whole heart. She loves fairytales, make-believe, and everything princess. A trip to Disney was the perfect place for her imagination to come to life.
From the very beginning, the experience felt special. Charlotte was excited to fly, and her family shared that Breeze Airlines was just so nice, with great space that made the journey even more comfortable and enjoyable.
One of the most magical moments came as soon as they arrived at Give Kids the World Village. Seeing their family name on the mailbox and walking into their villa filled Charlotte with excitement. As her mom shared, "she was beside herself, just so excited." Each time they returned to the Village, it felt just as special. Charlotte loved EVERY DAY getting ice cream, riding the merry-go-round, and visiting the salon where she could fully embrace her princess spirit. For the adults, the Village offered something just as meaningful, the chance to relax. Not having to plan or think through every detail allowed them to truly be present.

Mornings quickly became a favorite time for the family. Breakfast each day was calm and unhurried, surrounded by characters, volunteers, and a welcoming atmosphere. Charlotte's mom shared how much she appreciated that it "wasn't the stress of everyday pace." The peaceful setting, along with moments like spotting ducks and even a rare white squirrel, created a sense of calm they hadn't felt in a long time.
At the parks, Charlotte found joy everywhere she looked. Slinky Dog Dash became a standout favorite, something the whole family talked about long after. At Epcot, Charlotte was drawn to the beauty around her, especially the flowers she thought were so pretty. Meeting characters brought even more magic, including a special moment with the fox and rabbit from Zootopia, who were especially loving and kind.
Back at the Village, the pool was another favorite place to play and unwind. Whether they were exploring the parks or enjoying time together at Give Kids the World, every part of the trip felt thoughtfully designed for families like theirs.
As Charlotte's family reflects on the experience, the meaning runs deep. Her mom shared, "It almost felt like making up for lost time." Like many families' facing critical illness, they experienced the loss of everyday childhood moments. "She lost the ability to be a kid," and as a family, they lost the ability to do the things they once loved. This trip gave them something back. "This was an opportunity to take some part of life back."

The impact extended to the whole family. Charlotte's sisters felt the same sense of joy and renewal, describing it as a special gift and a chance to take a breath. Being at Give Kids the World Village and connecting with other families who understood their journey was incredibly powerful. It inspired a sense of gratitude and a desire to give back, bringing everything full circle.
From start to finish, the experience was filled with care and compassion. Charlotte's family shared that it was "all so magical," and they felt comfort knowing their needs were supported every step of the way.
Charlotte's Dream was more than a trip to Disney. It was a return to imagination, joy, and togetherness. A chance for a little girl with a princess spirit to simply be a kid again, surrounded by love, magic, and the people who mean the most.
