Raiden Reached for the Stars

For 11-year-old Dreamer Raiden, his Dream experience reached heights far beyond his imagination with days in Orlando theme parks, Give Kids the World Village and an unforgettable space adventure at Kennedy Space Center.

A favorite part of Raiden's Dream trip was exploring the incredible world of rockets along with the unforgettable VIP experience at Kennedy Space Center. Raiden and his family visited highly restricted areas that very few people ever have had the opportunity to see. They explored launch control stations, learned how rockets are built, and even experienced a simulated rocket launch. The family also visited both Blue Origin and SpaceX facilities, making it a true once-in-a-lifetime adventure.

One especially meaningful moment came when the family arrived at SpaceX. Employees lined up cheering and welcoming the Dreamers as they arrived, then gathered again to send them off at the end of the visit. The warm welcome made the children feel incredibly special.

Raiden also had the opportunity to meet astronaut Tony, members of MrBeast's crew, and receive unforgettable keepsakes, including a custom jacket with mission patches, a personalized nameplate medal from Blue Origin, a space-flown pin, and a flag that will one day travel into space.

Of course, there was plenty of fun throughout the rest of the Dream as well. Raiden loved experiencing Disney's biggest thrills, including Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, Tower of Terror, and TRON. In Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, he enjoyed piloting the Millennium Falcon while his sister helped navigate, creating another favorite family memory. Meeting Darth Vader and the Stormtroopers made the Star Wars experience even more exciting.

Back at Give Kids the World Village, Raiden found another favorite, unlimited ice cream. When asked about his favorite treat, the answer was immediate, "Definitely the ice cream!! EVERY DAY!!" The family also enjoyed the Village's meals, with Raiden saying he could happily eat there every day.

When asked about the most magical moment of his Dream, Raiden didn't hesitate. "When I got to place my star," he shared. Creating and placing his star at Give Kids the World Village became a lasting symbol of a Dream that will forever be part of the Village's galaxy.

Looking back on the experience, Raiden's family is filled with gratitude. They shared that the overall experience was amazing and that "after everything they've been through… they are very grateful and thankful."

Perhaps the greatest gift of the entire Dream was something much simpler than rockets or roller coasters. As his family reflected, “Raiden was able to be a kid again.”

Toby’s Dream Foundation is deeply grateful to MrBeast Philanthropy Dream sponsorship, Give Kids the World Village, Kennedy Space Center, SpaceX and Blue Origin. Together their generosity helped make Raiden’s extraordinary Dream a reality.
