Charlie, 18, Charlie’s Snowboarding Adventure!!!
Charlie isn’t your typical 18-year-old, who spends a lot of time on his smartphone and other devices. Charlie loves adventure and excitement, so he loves to spend his
free time being active. He enjoys playing sports as well as going to the beach. Since Charlie lives at the beach, our volunteers were not surprised when he mentioned that more than anything, he wanted to go snowboarding! For years, he had been dreaming of visiting Utah to shred some of the best powder in the country!
Once plans were set, Charlie, his mom, and friend Amelia traveled to Park City, Utah to begin an adventure they would never forget. Charlie and his family were hosted by Snowflake Condos, which were located right on top of the slopes! Charlie was impressed by the size of the Utah mountains, “The mountain was huge and we got to ski for four whole days!” Charlie’s Mom, Bobbi, said, “Charlie, Amelia and I talked a lot on our way home about what an amazing trip is was and how incredible it is that Toby’s Dream does this for lots and lots of families.
Charlie expressed how much he appreciates Toby’s Dream Foundation for sending him on his dream snowboarding trip, “It was an experience I will never forget and I cannot say thank you enough.” Another Dream come true for a very deserving young man.
