Onyx’s Light

We are heartbroken that our precious Dreamer, Onyx, lovingly known as Onnie B, earned his angel wings at just two years old.

Onyx was already very sick when he was referred to Toby’s Dream Foundation, but that did not stop the effort to bring joy to his life. Plans were quickly put in motion to send Onyx and his family on a Dream trip to Disney World through Give Kids the World Village in Orlando, hoping to create special moments together.

Onyx brought so much light with him. He loved Bluey and Spiderman, simple joys that made him smile and brought comfort during difficult days.

Onyx became too ill to travel. Wanting to give the family something meaningful to hold onto, a photographer was arranged to visit their home and capture precious moments together. Those photos became a lasting gift, preserving the love they shared during that time. Not long after, Onyx passed away.

Though his time was far too short, Onyx’s life touched many. Toby’s Dream Foundation will forever hold Onyx and his family close in our hearts, remembering the love, strength, and light he brought into the world.
