The Toby’s Dream Foundation 3rd Annual Wine Tasting was held on Sunday, February 9th at Zoe’s Steak & Seafood Restaurant on 19th Street Virginia Beach. Our host, Marc Sauter is the premier sommelier in Hampton Roads as he travels all over the world tasting fine wines. In talking with Marc at the event, he was asked how many wines he tastes in one year and his answer was simple….about 8,000. Marc and his wonderful staff once again gave Toby’s Dream an event to remember. Almost 80 people attended this event, enjoying fine wines per Marc’s selections and delicious appetizers prepared by Executive Chef Jerry Weihbrecht.
This event was created by Marlyn Fabrizio, a board of director for Toby’s Dream, and we appreciate her efforts as well as all who came out to enjoy a lovely Sunday afternoon.
