Ivy's Dream Reached New Heights
Seven-year-old Dreamer Ivy and her family experienced an unforgettable adventure filled with theme park thrills, incredible space exploration, and precious time together in Orlando.
As soon as her Space adventure began, Ivy was surrounded by excitement. The family enjoyed a special welcome complete with breakfast, gift bags, balloons for each child, and the opportunity to meet astronaut Tony Antonelli. They also met members of the MrBeast crew before heading behind the scenes at some of the world's most innovative space facilities.
During their exclusive visits to SpaceX and Blue Origin, the family toured areas few people ever get to see. They enjoyed lunch at SpaceX, explored the facilities, participated in a simulated rocket launch, and received special keepsakes, including custom patches for the children. At Blue Origin, Ivy was delighted to see her name and photo displayed on the facility's screens, making the experience feel even more personal.
While the space adventure was unforgettable, Ivy's favorite memories came from the theme parks. At Universal Orlando, she faced one of her biggest fears on Revenge of the Mummy. Although she was nervous at first, she decided she wanted to be brave. After riding once, she immediately wanted to do it again. Even now, she still talks about conquering that ride.
One of the family's favorite moments happened during their final evening at Magic Kingdom. Just before the park closed, they boarded Tiana's Bayou Adventure. When Ivy shared that she wanted one more ride, the cast member happily made it happen. Ivy and her brother climbed right back into the log together, ending the day with smiles they will never forget.
One surprise character interaction also left a lasting impression. Ivy especially loved meeting Donkey, an experience her family says she still talks about often.
Back at Give Kids the World Village, Ivy found another place she never wanted to leave. She loved everything about the Village and often asked to go back each day.
For Ivy's mom, the Dream meant far more than an incredible vacation. "Bottom line, it was a great trip because we got to take a break from appointments, removing ourselves from home, and not worry about anything."
She shared how meaningful it was to have every detail taken care of, allowing the family to simply enjoy being together. "We didn't have to think about the every day." Most of all, she treasured the opportunity to watch Ivy and her family laugh, explore, and make memories together. "To be able to take a trip that was paid for…and to see the joy in their faces."
Ivy's Dream was filled with courage, discovery, family, and unforgettable moments, from exploring the future of space travel to conquering roller coasters and making magical memories that will stay with her for years to come.
